Rodgers: Training Camp Will Benefit Swansea City
Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers says the Tenerife training camp will benefit his squad and give them a boost for the remainder of the season.
The 39 year-old has taken his players and staff away to the warm and relaxing surroundings of Tenerife, where the players are preparing to return to league action on Sunday 26th February when they travel to Stoke City.
Rodgers also told the Official site that the break away has helped him to have one-to-one discussions with the players:
'The training facilities have been fantastic this week and the players have worked well,'
'We've also held individual meetings with the players to work through various things, while there has also been time for a bit of relaxation.
'The players have worked hard and we've had a good few days.
'We stayed in a lovely hotel and the training complex was fantastic, and we feel as though we've pressed the rest button and are ready to go again now.
'We've had the chance to come away from our usual surroundings and reflect on the season so far.
'We are in 11th place in the Premier League with 13 games to go and we hope this little break will provide us with a springboard for the rest of the season.'
