'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Swansea's Training Impresses New Signing Obeng

Curtis Obeng says he's been impressed by the training so far at Swansea City.

The former Wrexham defender, who joined in January says he can tell from training why the opposition find it so frustrating to play against such an excellent passing side as the Swans.

'Training has obviously been a better standard from where I've come from - it's faster, the tempo is quicker and the quality of players is different,'

'The gaffer has got all the guys on the same page. We pass the ball very well.

'I've seen the comparisons with Barcelona - they are the best of the best - and we keep it for long periods too, so it's a privilege to be a part of things here.

'Even in practice games, you can go for ages without the ball because the guys keep it so well. You appreciate it when you are finally in possession. I think I can understand why the opposition have been so frustrated when they play against us.'
