Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says today's win and performance at West Brom was fantastic.
The Swans could have gone up to 10th on Tuesday night, but Chelsea rescued a late point, but today they did go up into the top half.
Fortune put the hosts into the lead early in the second half but within four minutes, the Swans went in front after goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Danny Graham.
Rodgers said:
"That was a fantastic win for us today. I thought we demonstrated a lot of us what is good about our game. People might look at conditions and could we play could we pass but the lads were fantastic today,"
"It`s one where we said before the game we don`t want any excuses. Today`s a day you could say it`s cold it`s snowy. For me my mentality was it would benefit [us]. That wee extra bit of zip in the grass to ensure to that it would move nice and quickly and I`m very fortunate that we bring in players that are highly gifted technically.
"And you see them playing in conditions like that today their technique was wonderful and they are tactically and mentally very strong and they got their rewards."
Rodgers also thought his side could have scored more goals than they did:
'We could have scored four or five. We are a little club fighting to earn respect at this level through our game.
'It is not our mentality and philosophy to sit back. There is an inherent belief in our game.
'We know we needed to improve our away record and we've had a couple of good results.'
Rodgers also paid special tribute to Hoffenhiem loanee Gylfi Sigurdsson, who scored one and assisted the winning goal:
'I put him in the team when I was manager at Reading so I know everything about him.
'I felt we needed an offensive midfielder for the second half of the season and he fits the bill perfectly for that.
'He did not need persuading to come here. He knows how I work and when I went into Reading he was a wonderful young talent.
'If I see that talent, I will put them in the team - and he went on that season and scored 20 odd goals.
'He is one I've always kept in contact with and I just felt this would be a terrific club and he has fitted in perfectly.'
'It has been difficult for him at Hoffenheim because he's had three different managers there.
'He is a very clever guy, loves British football and knows how I work.'
