'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Yet Another Injury Blow For Bodde

There was more bad news for Swansea City and Ferrie Bodde tonight after he was forced off the pitch early in a Reserves game against Arsenal.

The midfielder managed to play just 2 minutes in the game this evening, after being forced to leave the field after he went down under a challenge.

You have to wonder whether Ferrie Bodde really can recover and return to regular first team football after more than three years with a very serious knee ligament problem.

If he can't, which is beginning to look even more likely now, it's tragic for the 28 year-old and the club. He's a huge talent and if he did return in a Swansea City shirt, it would be like making a new multi-million pound signing.

We'll just have to wait and see now how bad his new setback is.
