Swansea's Neil Taylor: 'Still Love The FA Cup'

Swansea's left-back, Neil Taylor, has admitted his desire to go on a cup run, whilst insisting the magic of the FA Cup is still there.

Swansea City face Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok in the fourth-round of the FA Cup on Saturday. Just a few days earlier, local rivals Cardiff City booked their Wembley adventure with a penalty shoot-out win over Crystal Palace in the semi-final of the League Cup.

With important Premier League fixtures coming up for Swansea City, Brendan Rodgers can be forgiven for prioritising the league by making changes to the line-up that faces Bolton.

Swans Left-back, Neil Taylor however, hopes this isn't the case after admitting he and the rest of the team would love to go on a cup run that would culminate in another visit to Wembley:

'I want to play, to be part of the FA Cup run - all the boys want to be involved,' he said. 'Although we understand that changes may have to be made.

'We want to do really well, I think we showed that at Barnsley in the last round.

'It helps the confidence, it was another away win. It will certainly help going into Chelsea if we can get a positive result.

'We still love the FA Cup, the magic's still there.'

'It would be great for us to get to Wembley again after Cardiff did it the other night.

'They have a tough game against Liverpool in the final but it's great for them, and great for Welsh football.'

He added: 'I'd love to go to Wembley again and you go there in the semi-finals of this competition and we've got a squad more than capable of getting there.

'You can find yourself in the quarters, semis or even the final if you get the right path.

'Some big teams are bound to go out in this round and hopefully we can stay in it and then you never know what can happen.'
