'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wenger's Respect For Swansea's 'Positive Football'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says you have to respect Swansea City for their fearless and positive football ahead of tomorrow's game at the Liberty Stadium.

Arsenal, who have recovered well after a poor start when we faced them at the Emirates last year, will be looking to complete the double over the Swans tomorrow. A rare mistake from goalkeeper Michel Vorm gifted the home side the winning goal of the game in the 1-0 win.

Wenger believes that Swansea City look 'completely in their place' in the Premier League, and showed respect for their style of football:

"You respect that because they play without fear anywhere,"

"They have just won at Aston Villa and overall I think they are a team who looks completely in their place in the Premier League.

"They have the quality to play in the Premier League because they play positive football. If you look at the possession [stats], they master a possession in a lot of games. That means they have the technical quality to be where they are and over 38 games that pays off."

Swansea City may have to cope with striker duo Robin Van Persie and new loan signing Thierry Henry when Arsenal visit the Liberty Stadium tomorrow as Wenger considers pairing them up front.

Good to see more and more players and managers praising us for our football. I'm more confident after our january signings that we'll avoid a relegation battle

Credit where credits due. In my opinion the first team I've honestly seen outplay us at our own game since Barcelona. Can't say any more than that. I'm gutted but well done.

Thanks Wyn--we were awesome today--the best football I've seen this season from any team in the Premier League. but it's only a start for us--we need to keep going now.
