Swansea City Confirm Proctor Interest

A Swansea City club spokesman has confirmed that Preston North End Jamie Proctor is a target.

Back in December Vital Swansea reported that the Swans were linked with Proctor as manager Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his frontline.

The Swans boss is keen to sign young players what with teenagers Darnel Situ (expected to sign) and Rory Donnelly signing, as well Italian forward Riccardo Saponara being linked with a potential move.

A spokesman confirmed:

"He is one of a number of up and coming young players that we are looking at,"

Proctor has appeared regularly for Preston in League One this season, making 21 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
