Rodgers: We Dropped 2 Points vs QPR

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers was disappointed to only draw 1-1 today at home to QPR, saying it was 2 points dropped.

Record-signing Danny Graham got the hosts off to a great start after just 14 minutes, controversially netting after a suspect hand-ball.

A poor moment for Ashley Williams though gave QPR the chance to equalise and take home a share of the points, as Mackey fired past Vorm after the Swans defender failed to deal with the long ball.

Rodgers said:

'We have dropped two points, when we are at home particularly,'

'We normally close the game out and the manner of the goal was disappointing also.'

'Angel Rangel was struggling in the first-half, we tried to give him some treatment but he was really struggling so Kemy was the only one who could slip into that position and when you have that in mind, Nathan Dyer is also good as he can defend too in front of him,' he said.

'But it is a long ball up the pitch which we should deal with.'

Rodgers wasn't sure about a handball from Graham before he scored, but insists his side should have had a penalty with the scores at 1-1, he added:

'I haven't seen replay but I can't comment [on Graham's handball] - but Danny has made a great run and there was contact,'

'It was a clear penalty, I have had the chance to see it from a few angles and it was a definite penalty.

'We worked the space really well, Luke Moore got into a wonderful position, Nathan Dyer has done well, Danny has bent his run superbly, got a touch and Traore has made a foul. Normally with the referee so close that's a penalty.

'I thought it summed up Lee's performance which was interesting to say the least.

'He is a good lad on the circuit, trying to get experience, but he was very inconsistent right the way through, which did not help us.'

Rodgers must be living in cloud cuckoo land. Dropped two points? We were lucky to get one. Very poor performance.
