Neville Hails Everton's 'Fighting Spirit'
Everton midfielder Phil Neville hailed his side's fighting spirit but admits they need to start improving after falling down to 14th place in the Premier League table.
The Toffees haven't won in the last three, and have yet to keep a clean sheet at home all season, but they have a run of games now against teams in the bottom half, and Moyes' side will be looking to pick up some key points to kick-start their campaign.
Everton will be looking to bounce back on Wednesday night when they host Swansea City at Goodison Park, and Neville said:
"It is just not falling for us at the moment and we just need to persevere and keep the spirit,"
We showed spirit against Arsenal (a 1-0 defeat) and Norwich (1-1) and I know that is not good enough to win games at the moment but we need to keep that fighting quality.
"We can`t let it get us down and feel sorry for ourselves.
"People are paying good money (to watch) and fans are demanding results and demanding more quality, and from the manager downwards everyone feels the same and we are all hurting at the moment.
"We know what we need to do, we know what we require and we have to come through this sticky period we are going through. The only way to do that is by sticking together and being brave and, as team captain, I look around the dressing room and I think we have got a lot of brave players and that gives me confidence."
