WillsWorld Charity Needs Your Support!

WillsWorld Charity Needs Your Support!

AG Swansea are proud to announce that they have joined forces with Swansea City`s Ashley Williams and his charity WillsWorld in supporting Hari Kieft to raise £40,000 in order to send Hari to America for a life changing operation.

Hari Kieft is an amazing young boy from Swansea, loved by everyone who meets him. He is two years old and has been diagnosed with two heart conditions and spastic diplegic cerebral palsy which affects his ability to walk unaided.

After research and assessment Hari has been accepted for a specialist spinal operation known as a Rhizotomy. However, this operation is unavailable in the UK, and Hari`s family need to raise £40,000 in order to travel to the USA, for this life changing operation and to give Hari the opportunity to walk unaided.

After hearing about Hari, AG knew that they had to get involved and help raise the funds for this special little boy. Richard and Cerianne, Hari`s parents, work tirelessly to provide for Hari and are determined to raise the funds for their son. Hari`s sister Olivia who is only 3 years old adores her brother and is a constant source of support and love to him.

AG approached Ashley and Vanessa Williams and their charity, WillsWorld, to talk about Hari and how a partnership could benefit Hari`s cause.

Immediately Ashley and Vanessa were gripped by Hari`s story and felt the same conviction AG had to support a truly extraordinary family.

'As soon as this story was brought to our attention by the guys at AGSwansea we knew we had to be involved. As parents ourselves to a 6 month old boy it hit home straight away. If I was in Hari Kieft's parent`s position I wouldn't know what to do. Our charity WillsWorld is fully behind the drive to raise the £40,000 needed for this life changing operation. We feel energised by this challenge and we know we will have the backing of the general public and everyone involved. The response already has been amazing. So help Wills World and AGSwansea give the gift of walking to this little boy.." - Ashley and Vanessa Williams, Wills World.

A charity event has been organised for Friday January 13th at The Manor House Country Hotel Clydach at 7pm with special guests Ashley Williams, Nathan Dyer and the Swansea City FC Ladies to name just a few. The night will feature auctions and raffles with some very special prizes including Swansea City FC memorabilia.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.

n auction event has already taken place on Twitter organised by Swansea City goalkeeping Coach Adrian Tucker to win a signed pair of gloves signed by Michel Vorm and Gerhard Tremmel.

With more events taking place all the time follow on twitter or see the websites for all opportunities to support.
