'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ferguson Also An Admirer Of Swansea City

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says 'everyone has been taken by Swansea City' following their promotion to the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers and his side have received further praise again for delivering good results as well as an attractive brand of football that's excellent to watch for their fans.

Very few teams if any, have managed to get promoted to the Premier League, and do reasonably well there by playing a style of football like Swansea's. Blackpool tried, and came very close to avoiding relegation last season, and the Swans will be looking to go one better and maintain their top flight status this year.

Ferguson said:

'Everyone has been taken by Swansea and the way they have played,'

'They have kept their philosophy of playing good football and had 67 per cent possession at Liverpool, which is very good at a place like Anfield.

'We know we have a tough game but with the internationals over, now we have an opportunity to get some consistency over the next three months.'
