Caulker Arrested After Night Out

Swansea City's on loan defender Steven Caulker was arrested on suspicion a public order offence during a night out on Friday.

The 19 year-old Tottenham Hotspur centre back has been out of action for two months after suffering a knee injury after colliding with the goalpost during the 1-0 defeat at Arsenal in September.

Reports say that Caulker was taken to Swansea Central Police station following his arrest after a night out in Swansea.

Caulker was hoping to make his return from injury in just under two weeks, after the international break when the Swans host Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on November 19th (5.30pm).

Swansea City Football Club have yet to comment regarding Caulker's arrest.

Horrible news, but normal these days for young footballers getting their first taste of success, as well as dealing with the frustration of injury. Ledley King if I recall has had similar issues, but if Steven Caulker can nurture his game to be the kind of defender that Ledley King is, Spurs will have solid defence for years to come. Take good care of him you Swans!
