Beattie Looking Forward To Watford Challenge

Beattie Looking Forward To Watford Challenge

Swansea City striker Craig Beattie says he's looking forward to a new challenge at Watford after joining the Hornets on loan.

The Scot has been a regular goalscorer for the Reserves this season but he has struggled to get into the first team squad, with Luke Moore and Leroy Lita ahead of him in the pecking order.

Beattie has joined Watford until January for some much needed first team experience in the Championship:

'I've met the coaches at Watford and it seems a nice club,'

'The ankle injury I picked up recently set me back a bit, but now I'm feeling fit and raring to go.

'I just need some game time, some action, and I'm looking forward to the challenge at Watford.

'I want to play first-team football again and I will be doing my best to help the Hornets as much as I can during the loan spell.'
