Moras Completes Swansea City Move

Former trialist defender Vangelis Moras has now completed his move to Swansea City.

The 30 year-old, who scored in a recent 3-0 friendly win against Llanelli has signed a three-month contract to complete a move at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans finally received clearance for him to play for the club and he adds much extra defensive cover to Brendan Rodgers' squad with Alan Tate and Steven Caulker both out injured.

Moras said recently on a move to Swansea City:

'It's a big opportunity for me to play at Swansea,'

'The Premier League is one of the most important competitions in the world. I will try to do my best to help the team.

'I had interest and other offers from other countries, but I do not want to say who they are because it is not important. I think Swansea is the best solution for me now.'

'I need a little bit of time to get up to match fitness because I have gone four months without playing a first-team game,'

'Playing games like Llanelli (on Thursday night) will only help me. I will try to be ready for the next game.

'I hope I will play games here. I will do my best and try to take the opportunity when Brendan asks me to play.'
