Situ Is Fans' Most 'Pleasing' Deadline Signing

Situ Is Fans' Most 'Pleasing' Deadline Signing

19 year-old defender Darnel Situ is the most pleasing deadline day signing for Swansea City fans according to a recent Vital Swansea Site poll.

The Frenchman was the clear winner of the poll, receiving 85% of the votes, with Fede Bessone quite surprisingly coming second considering the reaction of his return, with 6%. Trialist goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel followed with 5% and then Fulham loanee Rafik Halliche getting 4%.

Apart from Tremmel, who actually signed a day before the deadline, and Fede Bessone, Situ and Halliche's signing as still subject to clearance from the Premier League and FIFA respectively.

There's been mentions in the media that Fulham sent the paper for Halliche's loan move 20 minutes too late, and Swans boss Brendan Rodgers is still waiting to see if he'll have Situ and Halliche available in his squad.

Our new poll asks what you think the result will be on Saturday when Swansea City travel to Arsenal, who will be looking to quickly forget about their 8-2 thrashing against Manchester United.
