Vorm Does His Homework To Help Save Penalty

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm says he saw Watson strike a penalty in the same place before he saved his spot kick in yesterday's 0-0 draw at home to Wigan Athletic.

The 1.5m signing from FC Utrecht, which already looks like the bargain of the century, is known as the 'Penalty Killer' in his native Holland and it didn't take him long to show us why.

Vorm said:

'It was an important moment and a big chance for them,'

'I knew which way he would shoot it. Last week he put his penalty in the same corner.

'I waited as long as possible and it was a good save.'

Michel is certainly on top Vorm!

"I really think that Rodgers needs to start Joe Allen in midfield instead of Leon. Joe provides us with a much better tempo and is both more creative and more combative in the middle than Leon."

definitely, he'll save quite a few points, like he saved 2 yesterday and kept the goal difference down at man city, an absolute bargain
