Amankwaah & Butler Sign!

Kevin Amankwaah and Thomas Butler have both passed medicals and agreed terms with the Swans to finalise their moves to the Liberty Stadium.

Thanks to co-operation from both selling clubs and the FAW, both players are available to play in tomorrow's friendly against Exeter.

Vital Swansea understand that we are paying around £235,000 for Amankwaah and £35,000 for Butler.

Chairman Huw Jenkins said: "We've been working hard on these signings and I'm pleased to say Swansea City now has two more quality players in its squad,''

"Butler is a player with great attacking potential who is determined to kick-start his career again after losing his way a bit since leaving Sunderland.

"And in Amankwaah we have a strong, committed player who can not only defend well but also loves to go forward.

"Kenny (Jackett) is delighted with the signings and feels both players will prove huge assets to the club.''

The official Yeovil site have said Amankwaah has signed for us (and passed his medical). Finally some good news for the Jack Army faithful!
Jack69
its official by the look of it both have signed according to bbcsport good news there then
stinkingbutlovely
Have you heard the rumor that Chelsea is buying Freddy Adu and loaning him to your club for the 1st ½ of the season?
USA
not heard that mate and although adu is a talent i cant see it happening as jackett is happy with our strikers
stinkingbutlovely
I believe both are good signings for us. We have to show patience as they have signed with only 7 days to go to the first league game. They do not have the advantage of training with the rest of the squad from day one.
willow
its gd to see we are signing some gd players keep it up KJ and HJ so we can get automatic promotion
