Swansea City Target Liverpool Defender Ayala

Swansea City Target Liverpool Defender Ayala

Swansea City are targeting Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala according to BBC Sport.

"Had a cracking season with hull last year i think he would be a good addition."

HAVE YOUR SAY
Hull City have had a bid accepted for the 20 year-old and have permission to discuss personal terms with the Spaniard, but the Swans are hoping to scupper a move to the KC Stadium by showing an interest.

Swans boss Brendan Rodgers says he is looking to sign a centre half following the expected arrival of FC Utrecht goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

A centre half would then complete his squad for the Premier League season, and Ayala could be the man to add further defensive cover, as Garry Monk is injured while Neil Taylor misses the first game due to suspension.

Ayala played 12 games for Hull City last season on loan and he impressed enough for the Tigers to make a bid for him this Summer.

He also spent time on loan at Derby County and played in the Rams' 2-1 win against the Swans.
