Routledge Signs 3 Year Deal At Swansea City

Wayne Routledge has signed a three year deal at Swansea City, completing his move from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around 2m.

The 26 year-old winger was expected to complete his move today and finally the news has emerged tonight that he has put pen to paper on a three year deal after undergoing a medical.

Striker Leroy Lita signed in time to feature in tonight's 2-0 friendly win at home against Celtic, but Routledge didn't complete a medical to join him in the squad.

Brendan Rodgers will be delighted with the double swoop, and he'll now continue to concentrate fully on bringing in a new goalkeeper ahead of the season's opening game at Manchester City on August 15th.
