Harley Settling In Well At Swansea City

Ryan Harley says he's settling in at Swansea City after joining up with his new team mates this Summer.

The midfielder completed a move to the Liberty Stadium in January but he went back to Exeter City on loan before joining up with his new team-mates this Summer.

The 26 year-old scored 22 League goals in 97 starts for the Grecians and a further 4 goals in 21 games in his loan spell during the latter part of last season.

Harley realises that there's plenty of competition for a regular first team place in the centre of midfield, but he told the Official Site that he has confidence in his ability:

'It was a slightly strange period after I returned on loan to Exeter shortly after joining Swansea,'

'I was on familiar ground at Exeter but I was always looking to see how Swansea had got on.

'But it is great to be in the group now. I am settling well into the club, despite having signed in January.

'The training camp is going very well and it's given me and the rest of the new signings a chance to bond with the lads.

'There's a good group here, and they are very tight.

'That's a good thing to have because we are going to need to be strong together this season.'

He added: 'There's strong competition for the central midfield position at the club, but I am confident in my ability and I will do all I can to be a regular part of the manager's plans.'

From what I've seen in pre-season, he looks a decent player.

havent seen him yet but if hes done well in pre season sure brendan has noticed him.toughest position midfield to get into team
