Routledge Agrees Personal Terms With Swansea City

Sky Sports News are today reporting that Newcastle United winger Wayne Routledge has agreed personal terms to join Swansea City.

Following on from our story yesterday that Routledge was believed to be arriving at the club on Tuesday to undergo a medical, it appears that the 26 year-old will complete a move to the Liberty Stadium, along with Middlesbrough striker Leroy Lita, this week.

The Swans have been linked with Routledge for the past few weeks now and there were suggestions that Leicester City were favourites to land the winger.

However, if Sky Sports News are correct, Wayne Routledge will end speculation about where his future lies when he arrives in the city on Tuesday, following the squad's return from their week-long stay in Austria.

Newcastle United had agreed fees from both Swansea City and Leicester City for Routledge, and with the Swans set to complete a move, it's not known exactly how much the fee is worth, but it's thought to be around £2m.

With a double-signing expected within the next few days, the only thing missing from Brendan Rodgers' Premier League squad is a new goalkeeper, and hopefully we'll also hear good news on that front soon.

Good news a player with pace and premier league experience. Lita is also a good backup striker 2 graham and will be better than beattie and moore. Hopefully we wrap up those 2 sigings on tuesday and a goalkeeper follows shortly.
