Swansea City Fail To Agree Terms With Pavone
Swansea City have apparently lost out in their attempts to sign free agent Mariano Pavone after failing to agree personal terms with the striker.
The Mirror believe that the Swans have been unable to match his 'strict' £20,000 weekly wages requirements, and that the 29 year-old is now hoping he can still secure a move to fellow Premier League side Blackburn Rovers.
A move initially fell through with Rovers and it looked like Swansea were going to come in and hijack the move, but once again it looks like the Swans will be stumped by the players' wage demands.
Yesterday Vital Swansea reported that the club had held talks with his representatives, but he's now hoping a move can still be agreed with Blackburn Rovers - all but ending our hopes of landing the Argentinian. The Mirror also added that Pavone had passed a medical and agreed terms with Blackburn, only for the club's bank to block the transfer.
