Swansea City Bid For Nottingham Forest Keeper?

Swansea City Bid For Nottingham Forest Keeper?

BBC Sport believe that Swansea City have made a bid for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp.

The Swans have recently been linked with the 26 year-old as Brendan Rodgers is still looking for another shot stopper despite bringing in Jose Moreira following De Vries' move to Wolves.

With Nottingham Forest not needing to sell one of their key first team players, Brendan Rodgers would certainly have to offer big money for the Championship club to considering selling him. With that in mind, it does look unlikely that we'll be able to sign Camp. The Swans have also been linked with QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny. It's been reported that new contract talks have stalled and the Swans and West Brom are 'thought to be' interested.

We'll have to see how this story progresses. It could be another case of either Rodgers or Jenkins rubbishing these stories as it does seem highly unlikely that we'd offer enough money to buy him.

Is it April 1st already? £1m would hardly buy you his gloves. If you offered the £4-5m he's worth we still wouldn't want to sell him. And the player would t see you as an established premiership club just yet. Good luck for the new season but hands off!
