Moreira To Sign For Swansea City

Reports emerging from abola.pt suggest that Benfica Goalkeeper is on his way to Swansea City.

'After Quim, Mantorras and Nuno Gomes Moreira behold, another important part of long-time squad Benfica, leaves the Light In principle, the final title, but the destination, this is already certain: Swansea, a Club promoted to the Premiership, the main championship of England.' Claims the Portuguese press.

After slipping to the number three in the pecking order at Benfica, it looks as though Moreira has said goodbye to the Portuguese club.

The 29 year old who was part of Portugal's Euro 2004 team has made 112 appearances for Benfica since 1999 and could be ideal for Swansea City in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, other reports are suggesting that Fulham FC have rejected the bid from Swansea City for David Stockdale.
