Newcastle & Everton In Battle To Sign Taylor

Newcastle United and Everton are both battling to sign Swansea City left back Neil Taylor.

The Magpies were the first Premier League club to make an official bid for the former Wrexham defender, submitting a £1million offer for the young prospect.

Taylor told Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins that he wanted to join Newcastle United but reports today are suggesting that he is also attracted to a move to Everton.

At first, it was thought that a clause in Taylor's deal meant that a certain bid would automatically allow him to speak to another club about a move, but it now appears that it doesn't exist in his contract. The club have since stated that the player won't be going anywhere unless they receive the right bid.

Swansea City are at risk of losing up to three of their first team players following Dorus de Vries' decision to join Wolves today. Neil Taylor could leave if we receive a high enough offer while Angel Rangel is also considering his options as he is able to leave on a free transfer.

It's quite ironic that now that we're a Premiership club, we're finding it more difficult than never to hang on to our biggest assets.

Could not put it better. Im sick at the way their loyalties are so quickly swept away with the bright lights of the Newscasting's, Everton's and Liverpool's of the Premiership. But as for suing, he has really got his head stuck right up his 'ass'
