Swansea In Battle With Wolves For Bertrand Loan?

Swansea City are reportedly in competition with Wolves to sign Chelsea left back Ryan Bertrand.

The Swans could face losing Neil Taylor this Summer as he is interested in a move to Newcastle United who have made a 1million bid for the young defender.

Swansea City are also in battle with Wolves over Dorus De Vries, as they are showing an interest in our out-of-contract goalkeeper.

Brendan Rodgers' chances of signing Bertrand could be better than Wolves as they will more than likely guarantee him first team games with the possible departure of Neil Taylor. Wolves meanwhile are looking to sign Bertrand as competition for George Elokobi and Stephen Ward.

Rodgers also has the benefit of working with the youngster for three years when he was a Youth Team Manager at Chelsea.

Other targets for the Swans are a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker, Villareal midfielder Marcos Senna, Leeds winger Max Gradel and Middlesbrough striker Leroy Lita.
