Swansea City Looking For De Vries Replacement?
Swansea City could be lining up a replacement for goalkeeper Dorus de Vries, who is attracting interest from fellow Premiership side Wolves.
The Dutchman's contract expires this month and it appears that talks over a new deal at the Liberty Stadium have hit a stumbling block as he considers his options.
De Vries' agent Arnold Oosterveer said:
'There are a lot of teams interested in Dorus and Wolves are one of them,'
'Dorus is on holiday at the moment. He's back next weekend,"
'We've had Swansea's final offer so Dorus will make a final decision when he gets back.'
With De Vries' Swansea City future uncertain, Swansea City are looking for replacements and 21 year-old Grzegorz Sandomierski is the latest shot-stopper to be linked with a move to South Wales.
A spokesperson for Polish football club Jagiellonii Bialystok said:
'On Monday, we received a concrete offer from Swansea. For several weeks they have been very determined to buy Grzesiek.'
De Vries himself admitted that he is considering other offers:
"There is interest from clubs in the Premier League and I will look at what is out there. Finances play a big role, but if I can play, or be, at a big club, I can develop.
"Hopefully I can work something out over the next week."
