First Game - Manchester City vs Swansea City

First Game - Manchester City vs Swansea City

Swansea City will face Manchester City away to kick off their 2011/2012 Premiership season on Saturday August 13th at 3pm.

As usual thanks to the shortsighteness of the Premier League, Football League, our FA and their legal eagles at Dataco, we can`t show them.

Correct, we can`t publish the fixtures - we can't advertise and publish details of the fixtures to you, the fans, that in the end put a lot of money into the club and into the game itself.

We face Arsenal and Chelsea in September, while November is just as hard with games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa!

We also have a tough final two games against Manchester United and Liverpool.

You can see the full fixture list on the Official Site here

you start with cit£h and end with utd, not a fixture you'd want to end your campaign with, good luck for next season.

I dont think it mattered who we had first game of the season because our record is horrendous. I think we lost the five times on the opening weekend.

Everton would have been good. They don't realise the season has started till January.
