Swansea City Agree Terms To Sign 3.5m Graham

Swansea City have today confirmed that they have agreed personal terms with Watford striker Danny Graham to sign him for 3.5m.

The club's official site has said that Graham will sign a 4-year deal at the Liberty Stadium with a 15% sell-on clause to Watford on any profit above the 3.5m.

Chairman Huw Jenkins said:

'We have agreed all personal terms with Danny,''

'He will have a medical and complete all the formalities once he returns from his holiday.

'Danny has also spoken to Brendan (Rodgers) at length. He is thrilled to conclude the deal and is looking forward to the challenge of Premier League football with Swansea.

'He is a player we have admired for quite some time and as a football club we are delighted to get our man.

'Brendan is looking forward to working with him and there is no doubt he will strengthen our team for the new campaign.''

Danny Graham was the highest goalscorer in the Championship last season with 24 goals and has been a target for Rodgers ever since he joined Swansea City as manager last Summer.

The Swans fought off competition from QPR and West Bromwich Albion to sign their man.
