Leacock Deal Fallen Through

Dean Leacock has returned to Fulham after his move to Swansea City has fallen through.

A joint statement from Swansea and Fulham read: 'Dean Leacock's permanent move to Swansea has fallen through after the two clubs and the player failed to agree all the relevant terms of the contract. Dean has now returned to Fulham and rejoined the first team's pre-season preparations.''

Leacock had signed a 3 year contract subject to a medical. There have been strong rumours lately suggesting that the player had failed a medical which meant the deal couldn't go through.

Huw Jenkins said: 'We are very disappointed how things have turned out over the last day or so. But sometimes things happen in football which are out of our control.

'Kenny (Jackett) is very disappointed because Dean was one of his main targets. But I can guarantee the supporters that Kenny is looking to bring in one or two new signing within the next week or so.''

:O ... wa a shame
this is such a humilation for us come on why would you sign a player who you know will fail a medical or has not agreed terms .HJ another clanger.
gutted ... :|
What the f*** is going at this club. Heads should roll!!!
omg! y can't kenny sign some players cause in a minitue were only goin 2 have enough 4 a normal match!! he wants 2 sign a keeper aswell!!{and not Andy Oakes!!}
omg !!.. can we please have just one decient signing that does not go wrong !
i thought they sed we had signed him wtf is going on lk opened there mouths to soon agen
what is more shocking is that the club has not learnt their lessons with transfer deals.
Sounds as if they've tried to do it the quick and easy way, getting the contract signed and forgetting about the medical and just assuming that he's pass it. Sounds very unprofessional.
Opening our gobs too early again!!! Haven't we leanrnt any lessons yet??
why cant Huw Jenkins keep his gob shut until its a done and dusted deal.
shocking news. so that makes ummm no players in except a dodgy keeper.
Whats it got to do with HJ and keeping his gob shut? It was confirmed on the official site that he signed and so on.
bring in serious negotiators to handle transfers maybe the Chuckle brothers or Dumb & Dumber cant do any worse
fecking usless, the Cardiff havent nicked him by any chance have they we seem to be their 1st choice scout these days!!
well he had obviously anounced that he had signed and everything was done to the official site but he knew that he hadnt been through the medical.
HJ said tha we will be signin more players by nxt week can any 1 tell me if they know who? plz
omg!! come on start signing some good players..we getting rid of them but aint buying any more!! cmon da jaxx!
Suppose my comment was wrong as i was very disappointed at the time I looked to blame it on someone...the matter of the fact is if he failed his medical it was a done deal...but surely the same deal can be agreed again soon when the player is fit enough to pass the medical....I also want him to come because I want him on my shirt:P!!
