Borini: Always A Dream For Me To Play At Wembley

Fabio Borini says it's always been a dream for him to play at Wembley, and he will be on May 30th as Swansea City face Reading in the Championship Play Off Final.

The on-loan Chelsea striker has been superb since he joined two months ago and he has helped us get to the play-offs with 6 goals in 9 League games.

There's been constant speculation surrounding his future, he will be leaving Chelsea this Summer as he is out of contract at Stamford Bridge. There's been reports linking him with a £1.5m move to Parma but there seems to be little information to back them up.

Borini may be tempted to stay at Swansea City if they manage to win promotion to the Premier League, he said:

'It's a great stage, there are a lot of people watching around the world and it's a great opportunity,'

'I've been to Wembley to watch a few times when Chelsea have played.

'I've seen Chelsea four times and also watched the Championship play-off final when Burnley beat Sheffield United.

'It's always been a dream to play at Wembley because it's one of the biggest stadiums in Europe.

'It has atmosphere, it has everything, and it will be a pleasure to be there.'

Regarding his future, Borini added:

'It's a fact that I won't be at Chelsea and we'll see what the future will bring,'

'Negotiations went wrong so we both chose to go away, let the contract expire and we'll see what will happen next year. I just want the chance to play and to carry on playing.'
