Rodgers: We're The Underdogs In The Play-Offs

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers believes his side will be the 'underdogs' in the play-offs.

The Swans are currently 4th and looking for another win on Saturday at home to Sheffield United to boost their confidence going into the play-offs as well as to try and get the highest league position possible. QPR could possibly have points deducted so automatic promotion is still possible - although unlikely.

Rodgers believes his team will be underdogs due to 'budgets and experience':

'Of the four teams who will be in the play-offs, we will be the underdogs,'

'I am not bothered who we will be playing against.

'I think every team up there is strong and whoever we face, we will be underdogs when you look at budgets and experience.'

This is only our third season at this level,'

'Nottingham Forest are a big club with a big budget.

'They were in the play-offs last year. They have that experience and they will be looking to go one better this time around.

'Only a couple of seasons ago, Reading were in the Premier League. And before that they had a sustained run where they were up there competing in the Championship. They have players with that experience.

'Then you look at Cardiff, who have been in the Championship eight seasons. 'They have gradually improved and they just missed out last year. In our third year at this level, we have done incredibly well to be in the position we're in.

'We will go into the play-offs with no pressure because no-one expects.'
