Swans Face Tough Competition To Keep Borini

Swans Face Tough Competition To Keep Borini

Swansea City face a tough task in signing Fabio Borini permanently this Summer as a number of clubs are interested in the young striker.

The Italian has proved to be a superb signing from Premiership side Chelsea and has scored 6 goals in 7 League appearances since joining in March.

Obviously, after such an impressive goalscoring start to his spell at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea City manager is keen to keep him as he looks set to leave Stamford Bridge, but the players' agent says Borini has a lot of interested clubs.

His agent, Marco Antonio De Marchi said:

"There are a lot of clubs interested in Fabio and he has the quality to play anywhere, in the Premier League, back in Italy or Germany,"

"He`s a top player and one of the best Italian young players in Europe.

"He`s 20, a striker for the under-21 national side and doing fantastically well. He will have no problem finding a club.

"Parma were talking with Chelsea in January, but could not find an agreement.

"Fabio then signed for Swansea and he has done a fantastic job there.

"But he is a player who is ready to play in the top level like the Premier League, Serie A or the Bundesliga.

"I`ve no doubts he will have a fantastic career."
