Rodgers Sends Players On Team Bonding Break
Brendan Rodgers has sent his players on a team-bonding break ahead of tomorrow's match at Portsmouth.
The Swans left on Wednesday, two days earlier than they usually would for team-bonding events such as golf and a theatre visit.
The Swansea City manager is looking to get his players into the best possible condition for the final vital 4 games of the season.
Chairman Huw Jenkins has also banned the players from speaking to the media to try to get them completely focused on the task in hand.
The team desperately need to restore their away form as 4 consecutive defeats on our travels has cost us a lot of points and it's seen us drop down to 5th in the Championship table.
It'll be a tough trip to Portsmouth tomorrow but hopefully we can avoid getting the double done over us for the first time this season.
"I felt it was a good time to have a change of scenery,"
"At this stage of the season you need to be relaxed but focused.
There's a lot of pressure at both ends of the table, and it's important you don't get too intense or you won't play your football.
"I felt it would be good to get away and it has been excellent.
There have been lots of smiles, but we have also focused on what we have to do in the next four games."
