Fee Yet To Be Agreed For Rehman

Fee Yet To Be Agreed For Rehman

Swansea City are also targetting Fulham midfielder Zesh Rehman, but the two clubs are yet to agree a fee.

The rumours suggesting that Swansea were targetting 2 players from the Premiership side were confirmed yesterday, as the Swans broke their transfer fee record with the £375,000 signing of Dean Leacock.

As things stand, a fee can't be agreed with Rehman and it's possible that we might enquire about him at a later date. Huw Jenkins said: 'We have also enquired about midfielder Zesh Rehman, but at the moment we can't agree on a fee for him,'

'He's under a two-year contract at Fulham, but it's something we may look at again in the future if we can.'

HJ won't be held to ransom though will he and they won't pay more than what they value the player at.

Well I hope he does not but if it is only gonna take a few thousand pound then thats fine but if they are talking tens of thousads then he should look elsewhere.

In theory we could be looking at a similar sort of fee as Leacock. Rehman played out last season at Norwich, and won't come cheap.

I'm with Kevin on this topic and lets not be held to ransom , i also agree he's quality but let HJ assure that the fans get value for money and not let an individual rip us off .
