Swansea City To Consider Permanent Borini Move

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers says he will consider signing Fabio Borini at the end of the season.

The on-loan Chelsea striker has scored 3 goals in 4 games since joining us as he's quickly become a favourite amongst the fans for his workrate, quality and of course his goals.

The young Italian's Chelsea contract expires at the end of this season so unless he gets offered a new deal, he'll be available to sign this Summer.

Brendan Rodgers said that he'll have to consider a permanent move for Fabio Borini at the end of the season:

'We need to see where we are at the end of the season,'

'Of course I want to bring in good players. And if you're asking is he a good player that would fit into our style and our philosophy then yes he would.

'But he is still a Chelsea player, he is only here on loan, is out of contract and then we can review it at the end of the season.'

'He has been outstanding,'

'When he came in, I said enjoy your football but enjoy living in Swansea because it is a terrific place - and he has settled in well.

'He is a good boy, very likeable and he works his socks off both in training and in games.

'To score three goals in four games is a terrific effort and he has been a real focal point in that period. He gives everything to the cause and his impact has been massive.'

There has also been reports that Parma have shown an interest in Borini so Swansea will certainly have competition to sign him this Summer, but we'll have the advantage of having had him play for us already, as well as the 'Brendan Rodgers' factor - the Swans boss also attracted Scott Sinclair to join us from Stamford Bridge.

Hmm, we'll probably try to buy him back after 4 years for 30 million. This, fellas, is what happens when you have a crazy board.
