Allen Linked With Summer Move To Sunderland

Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen has been linked with a Summer move to Premiership side Sunderland.

According to the Mirror - not the best source for football news like this, claims that Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is lining up a bid for the 21 year-old.

Allen has been tipped for the Premier League as well as a regular international footballer for Wales, and it comes as no surprise really that he's been linked with a move to the top flight.

The Mirror believe that Sunderland scouts watched Allen in action on Saturday as Swansea City lost 2-1 away at Preston North End.

There's been plenty of reports like this in the past linking Premiership teams with bids for our players, and all of them have resulted in nothing. The only occasion being Angel Rangel when he was close to joining Blackpool but luckily for us a deal didn't happen.
