'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Priskin Joins Squad For First Training Session

New loan signing Tamas Priskin met up with his new team mates this morning for his first training session at Swansea City, following his move from Ipswich Town.

The 24 year-old striker completed a loan move earlier in the week but he hasn't been able to meet the Swansea squad up until now after being on international duty with Hungary.

Priskin is expected to travel with the matchday squad to Preston tomorrow, but after having only one training session so far, he's only likely to make the substitutes bench.

'It's good to finally meet everyone,''

'The move happened so quickly and then I went away with Hungary for a double-header against Holland.

'I met the gaffer (Brendan Rodgers) last night and I'm really looking forward to working with him again. I heard he had tried to get me earlier in the season, but I'm here now.

'We were together at Watford a few years ago and we had a good working relationship. He played a major part in me coming here, but I was also keen to join a club with so much to play for over the final few weeks of the season.

'As Brendan said, I hope to give Swansea something different, especially in the air, and help them achieve promotion by grabbing a few goals over the last few games.

'I really admire the way Swansea play the game and I hope their style will be good for me.''

'I used to speak about Swansea a lot with Jason,''

'He always had good things to say about Swansea, the city and the supporters.

'And, yes, he is still the loudest person in the dressing room!'
