'If It's Football, It's Vital'

MacDonald Still Aims To Make It At Swansea

Shaun MacDonald is still looking to make it at Swansea City after joining Yeovil Town for his fifth loan spell.

The 22 year-old midfielder has struggled to get near the first team at Swansea since becoming a senior player, but he has enjoyed spells at Huish Park where he has impressed at League One level.

The Glovers are always glad to see MacDonald back on loan with them, and they would have been delighted with his performance on Saturday, as he scored a first half hatrick to help them beat Leyton Orient 5-1.

MacDonald said:

'I`m still hoping to make the breakthrough at Swansea. I love the club, I`ve just come to Yeovil to get games at the moment.

I`ve got another year left at Swansea so I`ll just have to wait and see what happens in the summer.

I need to be playing football though and I can`t be hanging around back home. Playing football and doing what I`ve just done - scoring a hat-trick and helping Yeovil win - is what I`d rather be doing than sitting in the stands every weekend.'
