Priskin To Join Swansea City On Loan?

Rumours circulating on twitter amongst other websites are suggesting that Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers is close to signing Ipswich Town striker Tamas Priskin on loan.

It appears that the Swans boss is still looking to strengthen his frontline despite Chelsea youngster Fabio Borini joining last week and scoring on his debut last Saturday in the 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest.

After failing to sign Jason Scotland on loan a few weeks ago, it now looks like Rodgers is targeting another Ipswich Town striker.

Rodgers worked with Priskin when he was manager at Watford and the Swans boss is a big fan of the striker.

Priskin, a Hungarian international, scored just 15 goals in 68 games for Watford and he has so far struggled to improve that record with his current club Ipswich Town, netting 5 goals in 27 League games at Portman Road.

We should hear more news tomorrow as to whether or not Swansea City will add Tamas Priskin to their squad for the remaining 8 games.
