Monk & Orlandi To Play For Reserves On Tuesday

Garry Monk and Andrea Orlandi will return from injury tomorrow as the Reserves team travel to Plymouth Argyle (2pm).

The duo picked up injuries in January but they look set to give Brendan Rodgers a big boost soon as they make a step closer to returning to first team action.

Garry Monk has been out with a knee injury since January 8th, while Andrea Orlandi has been sidelined since January 29th after picking up a thigh injury in the FA Cup defeat at home to Leyton Orient.

Monk says he's looking forward to returning to action tomorrow:

'It will be good to pull the shirt on again,''

'With Andrea back as well it will give the gaffer (Brendan Rodgers) a fully fit squad to pick from for the run-in.

'It's a crucial time and the more players fighting for a place in the starting 11, and even the matchday squad, can only be a good thing.''
