Agustien Set For Crystal Palace Loan Move?

Brendan Rodgers has told BBC Sport that Kemy Agustien is set to join Crystal Palace on loan.

"It's time the club came clean about the Augustien problem, for some one we had to have last July to some one who's been cast aside for the entire season."

The Dutch midfielder has had a frustrating time at Swansea City since signing permanently last September as he has struggled to force his way into the starting line-up.

Fans here on Vital Swansea have also expressed their confusion as to why the talented central midfielder hasn't been utilised more often this season. Agustien offers power and strength in the middle third of the pitch and he showed during last Summer's Holland Tour that he has the quality and confidence to do an excellent job for us when called up.

Crystal Palace are fighting against relegation and if they do clinch the signing of Kemy Agustien, then he'll be a big boost for their relegation battle.

Brendan Rodgers initially rejected loan offers for Agustien in January, but with Andrea Orlandi returning to training this week, the Swansea City boss is willing to loan him out to get regular first team football.

Rodgers told BBC:

"Kemy will go to Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, with a call back option,"

Seems like a personality clash here. We can't afford to let good players go at this time.
