Grayson: Swansea Were Exactly How We Expected

Leeds United Simon Grayson said Swansea City were exactly how they expected them to be as they lost 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Grayson said that they did a presentation the night before the game about their opposition and they did everything that was mentioned. Apart from win is it Simon?

'Swansea played exactly how we expected them to do we did a presentation on them on Friday night and they did everything we talked about,'

'They have energy, legs and a lot of pace in (Scott) Sinclair and (Nathan) Dyer.

'The two lads in midfield had a lot of energy, but we were a bit off the pace.

'It's hard to argue with the result overall because we were poor from start to finish and Swansea were very good.

'They passed it around well and we didn't have that zest you need to close them down.

Grayson also can't forget the blatant penalty they didn't get late in the first half when Alan Tate blocked a shot with his arm:

'Having said that, we still created some chances and we had a blatant penalty turned down.

'If that had been awarded we would have been level at half-time.

'While we might have played poorly until then, it was a massive turning point because it could have been a spark for us and we have players who can win games.'

'If anybody wants to rule us out of it they can, but anyone who thinks it's cut and dried who is going to be in the top two and who will be in the top six is in for a rude awakening,' he said.

'We have a group of players who have performed very well this season and we still have 12 games to go.'
