Rodgers Expecting Tough Game At Coventry

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers says that he's expecting a tough game on Tuesday night when he and his side travel to Coventry City as they look to build on Saturday's 3-0 win.

Aidy Boothroyd's side beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday, but before that their previous victory was on December 4th, beating Middlesbrough 1-0.

Between those two games they've lost 7 out of 10 League games which has seen them drop down to 15th in the table, after looking like challenging for the play-offs earlier in the season.

They've had a tough run of games recently though, playing a number of teams in the top half of the division including, Norwich City, Cardiff City, Leeds United, QPR and Nottingham Forest.

Despite their poor run of results, Rodgers always expects a tough match in this League and tomorrow will be no different:

'We played exceptionally well at home when we played against them (Coventry) and got the win (2-1 in September).

We know it's going to be a tough game over there, two contrasting styles, but Aidy's obviously a very good young manager and will have his team well organised and set up.'
