Ashley Williams explains the reasons behind his 'guns' goal celebrations after scoring twice in the last 2 games.
The defender wasn't willing to explain his celebration last week when he scored at Middlesbrough to make the scores 3-3. He flexed his bicep last Saturday and yesterday he flexed both as he headed the ball in for his second goal of the season.
Williams said the celebration was just a bit of fun, after doing more gym sessions recently:
'I did one arm last week when I scored at Middlesbrough,''
'I said if I scored this week I would do the two.
'It's only a bit of fun. I've been doing extra gym sessions in the morning and I told our fitness conditioner (Ryland Morgans) I'd flex the guns if I scored.
'I was happy with the goal because last week's was a scrappy one. I was a bit disappointed he saved my first effort, but I tried to react to the rebound with a diving header which went in.
'As a defender it's always nice to get a clean sheet, but it's also nice to pop up with a goal or two as well.''
Williams also talked about the team performance:
'With some of the top teams playing each other on Saturday, we knew people had to drop points,''
'So we set out to do our job and take advantage of the situation.
'I know Doncaster have their injury problems, but that can't take anything away from our performance. Doncaster are no mugs and I've seen us lose or draw games like this at the Liberty in the past.
'We had a plan and stuck to it and we are all happy with the outcome. The performance was just as pleasing as the points.
'Now we've got two more difficulty games coming up against Coventry and Leeds. Aidy Boothroyd's teams are always tough and steely; they showed that earlier in the season.
'Then Leeds is obviously a massive game, but we've got to concentrate on Coventry first because we want maximum points this week.''
Rodgers also joked about his celebration:
'I've set him a target of five goals this season,''
'I don't know about the celebration though. I think he was looking for 'Pose of the Year'!
