Ashley Williams reveals an exclusive on twitter by posting a message saying that his midfield colleague David Cotterill will join fellow Championship side Portsmouth on loan.
The former Sheffield United player and Welsh International has struggled to even get on the substitutes bench at Swansea City and he last appeared in the 2-1 defeat at Leicester City on January 3rd 2011.
Cotterill is expected to complete the 3-month emergency loan move tomorrow as it looks like he's played his last game of the season for the Swans - unless of course he returns and is involved in possible play-off matches in May, who knows.
The Cardiff-born 23 year-old has struggled for consistency during his career and that was the reason why Kevin Blackwell decided to sell him to us for a £600,000 in January 2010 when he was manager of the Blades.
Hopefully his spell with Pompey proves to be a useful and successful one as the player certainly has talent, but we need to see it more often - otherwise he'll continue to find it difficult to get games in a very competitive midfield at Swansea City.
