Yeovil Show Interest In McLeod

Yeovil Town are interested in signing Swansea City left winger Kevin McLeod.

In an article on Yeovil's official site, Glover's General Manager John Milton said: 'And the state of play with the lad at Swansea City, McCloud, is that we're still waiting on that one, and still doing our home work.'

This begs the question as to whether Jackett has made his mind up or not over McLeod, who was transfer listed in March because his 'application didn't match his ability'.

His Swansea career looked to be over as Southend were close to signing him but they missed the transfer window deadline by minutes.

He was given a second chance when he returned to the starting line-up 6 weeks later but unluckily he broke his ankle during the home game against Southend, which meant he had to sit out the play-off games.

With us looking to add to the squad ahead of the new season, it seems unlikely that we'd be willing to get rid of McLeod, especially considering we only have 1 other left-sided midfield player in Tom Williams.

McLeod has the ability to be one of our best performers of the season and it would be a shame to see that much potential leave the club.

I can't see him going, unless Jackett is still not happy with his attitude.

Cant see KJ letting him go to be honest with our midfield as depleted as it is.

He's going nowhere: "Andy would have been a good signing for us but it looks like he's going to be signing a new contract at Swansea," Tilson said. "He played well against us last season so he would have been a good one to get in, but I don't think it will happen now."
