Swansea City Make Offer To Sign Scotland On Loan

Swansea City are waiting for a response from Ipswich Town following an offer to sign Jason Scotland on loan.

Brendan Rodgers confirmed to the Evening Post:

'I have had a conversation with (Ipswich manager) Paul Jewell and our chairman has had a chat with their chief executive Simon Clegg,'

'There is a deal there to be done, and we have put a proposal to them.

'We are now waiting to hear back from them to see what they think.

We hope we can come to an agreement because Jason is a player who has proved himself capable of scoring goals at this level and for this club.'
