Swans Are The Chelsea of The Championship
On loan Cardiff City midfielder Seyi Olofinjana says Swansea City are the 'Chelsea of the division' ahead of Sunday's big South Wales derby match.
Swansea City are targeting a first ever double in this fixture since the first one 82 years ago, and the Hull City player is looking to avoid that from happening:
'I don't want to see that happen in my time,'
'We will give our best towards making sure it stays the same.'
He also said that they don't want to approach the game like a derby, but just like any other in the League:
'As a team, I don't think we want to look at it as a derby, we want to look at it as one of the games we play in the season,'
'We know very well it's going to be a difficult game because of the attention the game is going to bring.
'I've been privileged to have played in a few derbies and I know what to expect. The game itself is more for the fans.
'We try to tell ourselves to play the game not the occasion. It's a pride thing, a commanding thing, so you can understand the frustration if it doesn't go the way they want the game to go.'
Olofinjana complimented the Swans and their style of play, but admits they are 'beatable':
'I think they've got a very wonderful team. They pass the ball very well, they are set in their ways and they know what they want to do and they do it very, very well,'
'Without giving too much away, I would say they are the Chelsea of the division in the way they go about everything.
'They are fantastic ball jugglers and very, very wonderful players, but they are beatable.'
