Bodde Back In Swansea To Discuss His Future

Ferrie Bodde is back in Swansea to discuss his future at the club after spending time in Holland recovering from a knee injury.

The midfielder has struggled since the end of 2008 with a knee ligament injury and since then he has failed on two occasions to fully recover from the problem.

Manager Brendan Rodgers admitted that it's unlikely that the Dutchman will play this season, not only because of the injury but the fact that it'll be difficult for him to win a place in the 5-man midfield which has been so consistent this year.

The player's contract expires in the Summer so he'll have talks with the club to discuss his future, and whether or not he can kick-start his career at the Liberty Stadium. When he's at his best, he's can be one of the best midfielders in the Championship but the big question now is whether or not he can fully recover and get back to the player he was a few years ago.

What are your thoughts on Ferrie Bodde? Do you think he can make a comeback at Swansea City?
